Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Pallotti

Pallotti won the last time they faced Jemicy and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers walked away with a 9-5 win over Jemicy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Pallotti let Ryan Cobb-Davis and Gus Chackmakian-Lodge run wild. Cobb-Davis scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4, while Chackmakian-Lodge scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave Chackmakian-Lodge a new career-high. Jerry Stanislaus was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Pallotti kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Pallotti's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Jemicy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pallotti will take on St. Frances Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jemicy, they will square off against Mount Airy Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Airy Christian Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Jemicy surely won't give up without a fight.
