Baseball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ridgeland can now relate to. They fell just short of the Grenada Chargers by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Dakarai Wallace made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Brayden Lacey also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Ridgeland now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Grenada, their record is now 16-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Ridgeland by a score of 5-4 on Saturday.
