It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hitchcock-Tulare had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Herreid/Selby Wolverines 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on eight straight.

While Hitchcock-Tulare won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-21.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hitchcock-Tulare to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cambree Hoekman, who had 21 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn Bixler, who had four digs and 15 assists.

Hitchcock-Tulare's victory bumped their record up to 31-2. As for Herreid/Selby, their loss dropped their record down to 20-15.

After both having extra time off, Hitchcock-Tulare and Gayville-Volin will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Gayville-Volin is coming into the matchup with nine straight wins on the road, so Hitchcock-Tulare will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Herreid/Selby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
