Soccer Recap: Fernley Beats Sparks for Their Third Straight Victory

Fernley barely beat Sparks the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vaqueros' defense stepped up to hand the Railroaders a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. It was an even better day for Anna Mossner as she scored three goals for her team.

The win (which was Fernley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fernley will challenge Incline at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sparks, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Churchill County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
