Volleyball Game Preview: Concord Bears vs. Miramonte Matadors

The Concord Bears will take on the Miramonte Matadors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Concord managed to slip by Pittsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Pirates on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since March 13th.

Meanwhile, Miramonte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clayton Valley Charter.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 19-25, 25-14, 25-21.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Miramonte, their loss dropped their record down to 4-21.
