Volleyball Recap: Harwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Harwood was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Missisquoi Valley on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Highlanders fell 3-1 to the Randolph Ghosts on Wednesday. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ghosts earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Harwood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 25-20, 27-25.

Savannah Fulton paced Harwood's offense, picking up ten kills. Fulton really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16. Natalie Folsom and Lessa Dreimiller kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Harwood's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Harwood has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Colchester on the 17th. As for Randolph, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lyndon Institute on the 17th.
