Gardner-Edgerton won the last time they faced Olathe East, and Landri Schaffer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers snuck past the Olathe East Hawks with a 44-39 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Schaffer, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. The contest was her seventh in a row with at least 18 points.

Gardner-Edgerton's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Olathe East, they dropped their record down to 5-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Gardner-Edgerton will square off against Lawrence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
