Volleyball Recap: Central Springs Takes a Loss

Central Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wapsie Valley Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Central Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Wapsie Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Central Springs will venture away from home to square off against Newman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wapsie Valley, they will face off against Oelwein at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
