Baseball Recap: Beachwood Bison vs. Bristol Panthers
There's no place like home for Beachwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Bristol Panthers 5-3.
Cole Schreibman was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Rosenblitt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Bristol, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
Beachwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bristol, they will head out on the road to face off against Berkshire at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bristol's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Berkshire's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
