Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Sets Scoring Season-High Against Elsinore

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Jacinto). They breezed by the Elsinore Tigers to the tune of 85-18 on Wednesday. San Jacinto has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Jacinto to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luvlee Sadler, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. The game was Sadler's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miyah Stevenson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals.

The victory (which was San Jacinto's fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Elsinore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-17.

As of now, neither San Jacinto nor Elsinore have any future games scheduled.
