Volleyball Recap: Cook Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thomasville Bulldogs. While the Hornets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-12 in the first set.

Cook came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Cook's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Thomasville, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Looking ahead, Cook will challenge Brooks County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomasville, they will square off against Colquitt County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
