 It was a good run, but  the Bloomfield Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell  51-42 to Shiprock. Bloomfield was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shiprock apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  on February 3rd.
 Despite the loss, Bloomfield still got an impressive performance from   Andrew Florez, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals. That was a full 38.1% of Bloomfield's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Xavier Abernathy was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with nine  rebounds.
 Bloomfield's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-14. As for Shiprock, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
 Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game, a  57-42  victory vs. Aztec on the 24th. Shiprock has also already played their next game, a  75-66  victory against Kirtland Central on the 24th.
