Volleyball Recap: Shippensburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Shippensburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the James Buchanan Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-11.

Azula Navarro paced Shippensburg's offense, picking up five kills. Navarro got some help from Kacie Mentzer and her five assists. Mentzer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Shippensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for James Buchanan, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-11-1 record.

Shippensburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Gettysburg on the 6th. As for James Buchanan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Big Spring on the 6th.
