Emily Rivera struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 3.71 over 28.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.444/0.500/0.741 with 11 runs.
