Football Recap: Kress Comes Up Short

Kress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Happy Cowboys 62-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kangaroos of the 48-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kress' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Happy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Coincidentally, Kress and Happy will both be playing Springlake-Earth the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Kangaroos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
