Basketball Game Preview: Providence Lions vs. Princeton Eagles

Providence is 1-9 against Princeton since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Providence Lions will head out to square off against the Princeton Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Providence is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Thursday. They took a 45-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paradise Adventist Academy.

Meanwhile, Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 61-51 to Loyalton.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Providence, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Providence took a serious blow against Princeton in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 57-24. Can Providence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
