On Thursday Princeton will have to hit the road after five straight games at home. They will venture away from home to face off against the Mt. Vernon Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The last three games Princeton has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Monday, Princeton didn't have quite enough to beat Forest Park and fell 3-2.

Princeton took Forest Park into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 19-25, 22-25, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Princeton got top-tier performance from Halle Cole, who had 20 digs.

Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against North Posey, falling 3-0.

After all that action, the final score was 25-6, 25-8, 25-14.

Princeton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Mt. Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
