South Hills wins going away against Chaffey

Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. Chaffey Tigers
The South Hills Huskies came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Chaffey 50-27. That's another feather in the cap for South Hills, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
South Hills found their leader in underclassman Cruz Valdez , who scored 16 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Valdez has scored at least 25% of South Hills' points. Another player making a difference was Diego Rivera , who scored 10 points.
South Hills' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chaffey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Claremont the next time they take the court. South Hills will head out to face Claremont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chaffey will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
