Baseball Game Preview: Uniontown Red Raiders vs. Ringgold Rams

For the second straight game, Uniontown will face off against Ringgold. The Red Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Uniontown fell victim to Ringgold and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

For Ringgold's part, Xander Mahoney was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two runs gave Mahoney a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Bartkus, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Ringgold hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Uniontown struck out eight times.

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Ringgold, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
