Basketball Recap: Sunshine Bible Academy Comes Up Short

Sunshine Bible Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Faulkton Trojans an easy 46-25 victory. The Crusaders were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Abby Hinman was Sunshine Bible Academy's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Ciera Mickelson took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Sunshine Bible Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Faulkton, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunshine Bible Academy will take on James Valley Christian in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Faulkton, they will head out to square off against Highmore/Harrold at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
