Football Recap: George County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

George County and Picayune squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but George County had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Maroon Tide. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Maroon Tide: they've now lost six in a row.

George County's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Picayune, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

George County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Picayune, they will welcome Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
