Basketball Recap: Wakeland Takes a Loss

Wakeland lost against Plano back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines fell 64-58 to the Wildcats.

Wakeland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Plano, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakeland won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Richardson at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Plano, they will venture away from home to square off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
