Basketball Recap: Starmont Comes Up Short

Starmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They were beaten by the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings 77-15. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-16 back in December of 2024.

Starmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Edgewood-Colesburg, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Starmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 93-19 loss against North Linn on the 4th. Edgewood-Colesburg has also already played their next matchup, a 70-46 defeat against Springville on the 4th.
