Basketball Recap: Melrose Drops Highest Score of Season Against Swanville

Melrose scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swanville Bulldogs. The Dutchmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Melrose now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Swanville, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

Melrose will head out to take on West Central Area at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Swanville and Browerville will compete for holiday cheer at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
