After losing to Legacy the last time they met, Garfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 37-6 win over the Tigers. With the Bulldogs ahead 30-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Jason Rodriguez and Jaden Camacho certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Rodriguez rushed for 96 yards and one TD, while Camacho rushed for 68 yards on only nine carries.

The victory got Garfield back to even at 2-2. As for Legacy, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Garfield will venture away from home to face off against Huntington Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Legacy, they will welcome South Gate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
