Baseball Recap: Southern Wayne Saints vs. South View Tigers

Southern Wayne gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the South View Tigers by a score of 6-2.

Hayden Waller and Kaeden Hinson were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Waller tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hinson pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. At the plate, Waller scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Hinson scored a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tyler Odom, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
