Servite made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Santa Margarita, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Friars put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Friars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

While Servite won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

The victory got Servite back to even at 14-14. As for Santa Margarita, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Servite will welcome JSerra Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Margarita, they will square off against Mater Dei at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
