Basketball Recap: Glenbard West Takes a Loss

Glenbard West was the 55-49 winner over Hinsdale Central when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Glenbard West Hilltoppers took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinsdale Central Red Devils. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenbard West's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Hinsdale Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Glenbard West and Hinsdale Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Glenbard West (ranked 78th) will meet St. Francis (ranked 315th) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central will face off against Oak Park-River Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 366 places (62 vs. 428).
