Basketball Recap: Spring Creek Find Success

Spring Creek's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Princeton Bulldogs by a score of 44-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gators also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Princeton lost, don't look at Khloe Jones. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Jones continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Celeste Anchondo Cedillo, who had two points and 12 boards.

Spring Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Princeton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Eastern Wayne the next time they take the court. Princeton will head out to face Eastern Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Spring Creek will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
