The Harpeth Indians will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Hillsboro Burros at 6:00 p.m. Harpeth will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Harpeth stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet.
The team relied heavily on Hayden Penrod, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Merritt, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
