Baseball Recap: Hutchinson-Central Tech Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hutchinson-Central Tech can now relate to. They lost 14-1 to the Lockport Lions on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that the Engineers let down their fans at home.

Hutchinson-Central Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Guercio, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Hutchinson-Central Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-2. As for Lockport, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Hutchinson-Central Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lockport has already played their next matchup (against Williamsville East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
