Softball Recap: Unaka Rangers vs. Johnson County Longhorns

Unaka lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Johnson County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Rangers were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Longhorns on Tuesday. The Rangers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kimberly Proffitt made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits.
