Basketball Recap: Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Takes a Loss

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler was the 57-44 winner over Edisto when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans fell to the Edisto Cougars 48-44. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Edisto, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will face off against Calhoun County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler is facing Calhoun County at the right time seeing as Calhoun County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Edisto, they will head out on the road to take on Hampton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.
