Having just played yesterday, the Lapwai Wildcats will jump right back in to play the Valley Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lapwai is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.

Lapwai heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakley.

Lapwai's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Skylin Picard, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 23 points, and Amasone George, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 13 points along with five boards and three steals. What's more, George also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January.

Meanwhile, Valley was beaten by Prairie 69-40 on Friday.

Lapwai's record is now 21-5. As for Valley, their record is now 20-6.

Everything came up roses for Lapwai against Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 64-27 win. Will Lapwai repeat their success, or does Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
