Softball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Comes Up Short

Amanda-Clearcreek lost against Liberty Union on April 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Aces came up short against the Lions, falling 14-1. The Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amanda-Clearcreek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Liberty Union, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Amanda-Clearcreek is set to take on their familiar foe Bloom-Carroll at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty Union will challenge rival Logan Elm at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 2, the Braves 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
