George Washington picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against Northfield by a score of 81-68.

George Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Trimm out in front who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. Trimm is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 54% in the last three games he's played. Malachi Headrick was another key player, en route to 27 points.

Meanwhile, Fairview's game on Friday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Broomfield.

George Washington will have to contain Toray Davis as he made an impact in Fairview's last game. He on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Harding, who to rack up 12 points and seven boards.

George Washington's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: George Washington has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Fairview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 21.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
