Soccer Recap: Fossil Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fossil Ridge was the 4-0 winner over Fort Collins when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The SaberCats fell 3-1 to the Lambkins on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Fossil Ridge came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Fort Collins are ranked 65th).

Fossil Ridge's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-3. As for Fort Collins, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5-1.

Fossil Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Collins, they will take on Liberty Common at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Collins will need to watch out since Liberty Common have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
