Softball Recap: Fairview's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Fairview came into Saturday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Powell County Pirates on Saturday. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Powell County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coincidentally, Fairview and Powell County will both be playing Berea the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Pirates at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
