Vanden had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Antelope Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Vikings have posted  since March 11th.
Their offense was headlined by  Ifeanyi Onwuazombe and  Tosh Evangelista, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from  Tavas Spencer and his 14 assists.  Vincent Mercado controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Vanden's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Antelope, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record  this season.
 Vanden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  defeat against Amador Valley on the 29th. As for Antelope, they will host McClatchy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Antelope is facing McClatchy at the right time seeing as McClatchy is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
