Basketball Game Preview: Robinson Rams vs. Lake Braddock Bruins

Robinson hasn't had much luck against Lake Braddock recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Robinson Rams just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lake Braddock Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Robinson will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Fairfax, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Robinson came out on top against Fairfax by a score of 62-50 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Lake Braddock's strategy against Fairfax on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lake Braddock blew Fairfax out of the water with a 73-45 final score. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by exactly 28 points.

The win (which was Lake Braddock's third in a row) raised their record to 11-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Robinson, their record is now 15-7.

Robinson suffered a grim 55-30 defeat to Lake Braddock in their previous matchup back in January. Can Robinson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
