Basketball Recap: Research Triangle Comes Up Short

Research Triangle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the East Wake Academy Eagles, falling 65-15. The Raptors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.

Research Triangle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for East Wake Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Coming up, Research Triangle will face off against NCSSM: Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Wake Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
