Football Recap: Heritage Christian Starts off Right with Win over San Marino + How To Watch

Heritage Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the San Marino Titans with points to spare, taking the game 34-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Jordan Schiffner was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 133 yards and three scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Josiah Allen was another key player, picking up 100 receiving yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Heritage Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why San Marino lost, don't look at Parker Wilson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 165 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 84 yards and one TD. Wilson's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian will challenge El Camino Real at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Marino, they will square off against La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
