Oldenburg Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Seton Catholic on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Seton Catholic Cardinals 50-46. The Twisters' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Seton Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Tremain out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Tremain a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Colin Murray, who posted nine points.

Oldenburg Academy's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Seton Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Oldenburg Academy will head out to challenge Connersville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Seton Catholic, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union County at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
