Baseball Recap: Ligonier Valley Takes a Loss

Ligonier Valley was the 3-2 winner over Burrell when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 7-2 to the Bucs on Tuesday.

Ligonier Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Duncan Foust, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ligonier Valley dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Burrell, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will welcome Yough at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burrell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Pleasant at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
