Basketball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 57-49 to the Princeton Panthers. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Independence now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Princeton, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Independence has already played their next matchup, a 53-50 loss against Sachse on the 27th. As for Princeton, they will square off against Prosper at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
