Paxton has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Platte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Paxton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tanner Hebblethwaite, who posted nine points and six boards. Jasper Brewster was another key player, putting up two points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for South Platte against Arthur County on Friday as the team secured a 66-36 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Knights in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

South Platte's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Paxton, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Paxton strolled past South Platte in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 62-48. Will Paxton repeat their success, or does South Platte have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
