Football Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lenape last Saturday, Eastside came back down to earth. The Tigers were dealt a 45-6 loss at the hands of the Kingsway Dragons on Thursday. The Tigers lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 16-8 score last time.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Kingsway, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will welcome Pennsauken at 12:00 p.m. on October 4. As for Kingsway, they will be playing at home against Hammonton at 6:00 p.m. on October 3. The Dragons are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
