Evangelical Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against St. George recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will host the Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. Evangelical Christian has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Evangelical Christian fell victim to Northpoint Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. George's). They never let First Assembly Christian get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Gryphons with their most commanding win of the season.

Evangelical Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for St. George's, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Evangelical Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against St. George's in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 8-6. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gryphons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
