Baseball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. St. Marys Bears

Nemaha Central has won three straight games at home, while St. Marys has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Thunder will host the Bears. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Nemaha Central earned a 5-1 win over Holton. The Thunder haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. Marys made easy work of Royal Valley on Thursday and carried off an 11-5 win.

St. Marys is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Nemaha Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
