Baseball Recap: Sulligent Comes Up Short

Sulligent lost to Fayette County back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 14-4 to the Tigers. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sulligent's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Fayette County, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Sulligent didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-3 loss against Winfield on the 21st. As for Fayette County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Talladega on the 23rd.
